Lake Use Survey

Recently a club member was contacted by Lushani Nanayakkara, a PhD candidate with the University of Regina, to help distribute a survey about lake use in Saskatchewan. Through the survey, she is hoping to gather information from the public about how they use lakes in Saskatchewan and what they perceive as short term and long term threats to the lakes they enjoy.

As part of club’s mission to promote informed use of our waters, we are posting a link to the survey here.  It is open to anyone who actively uses Saskatchewan waters for recreational purposes.  Information gathered from this research is private and anonymous, and may help inform future fisheries and water management decisions in Saskatchewan.  Also, anyone completing the survey has a chance to win one of three rod/reel combos from Cabelas.

Please take a few minutes right now to complete the short online survey; it should take roughly 10 minutes.  You can access it at: (It will open in a new window/tab in your browser)

Feel free to forward the survey link to your friends and family – the more responses she can get, the better. Please complete the survey as soon as possible because she hopes to start compiling the results in October.
