On April 29, 2017 the Kilpatrick Fly Fishers Club will hold its 13th annual fly fishing Jamboree.
This year’s featured presenter is Gary Hanke from Edmonton.
Gary is a well known and respected fly fisher with over 50 years of experience in fly fishing, tying, guiding, and world level competitions. In 2015 he was the Captain of Canada’s World Fly Fishing Championship team. He teaches beginner to master level tying classes, and has written fly pattern and fishing articles for several of our favourite fly fishing magazines. During the day that he will spend with us, he will cover a variety of topics including: Fly fishing for Pike, lake fishing essentials, and some of the trials and tribulations of competitive fly fishing. It will be a day full of fun and learning to be sure.
Local fly fishing vendors will be setup and ready to provide for all your tying and fishing needs.
The Jamboree is from 9 am to 4 pm on April 29, 2017 at the Saskatoon Wildlife Federation Building (Range Road 3050).
If you register early via the website, the cost is $30. Without pre-registration, the cost is $40. Lunch is provided in either case. CLICK HERE to preregister.
